PREP: 10 min. COOK: 2 hr. 5 min. TOTAL: 2 hrs. 15 min.
INGREDIENTS:
2-2.5 lb. rack of pork ribs
juice of 1 lemon
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/ tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground mustard
2 tsp. paprika
BBQ Sauce- my favorite
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 300ºF.
Break the rack of ribs down into individual pieces/ribs.
Line a caking sheet with foil and place the individual ribs onto the baking sheet.
In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, chili powder, ground mustard, and paprika.
Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon onto the ribs and then cover the ribs in your spice mixture. Make sure to rub in the spices so that all parts of the ribs are covered.
Arrange the ribs on the baking sheet and then cover them tightly with foil and place them into the oven for about 2 hours.
Once you take them out of the oven, brush them with your favorite BBQ sauce.
Once coated in sauce, place them under the boiler for 3-5 minutes on each side. Be sure to watch them so that they do not burn, if your sauce contains a lot of sugar or honey, broil for less time.
Serve warm with your choice of sides and enjoy!
